How I Solved Today’s NYT Connections
I tackled the game in what I call the ‘reverse rainbow’ order. It was a bit of a challenge. The clues weren’t easy, especially for the yellow group about places to find paper money. Initially, I thought it would be simple, but I had to juggle between choices like BANK, PURSE, and TIP JAR.
After making a couple of wrong guesses, I moved on to other groups. I eventually solved the purple, blue, and green groups, leaving the easiest one for last. It seems my brain was just not cooperating today!
“Those puzzle setters at the NYT sure know how to keep us on our toes!”

About NYT Connections
NYT Connections is one of the many popular word games by the New York Times. The goal is to find groups of four items that share something in common. The difficulty varies, with green being the easiest and purple usually the hardest. You can play for free on the NYT Games website, whether on your computer or mobile device.
Don’t be discouraged if you can’t solve everything at once. You can make up to four mistakes, which gives you a little extra time to think. Just remember to stay alert for tricky words that might mislead you!
